ARCASIA STUDENTS ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN COMPETITION 2020

The Architects’ Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) is a Council of the presidents of the National Institutes of Architects of 21 Asian countries that are members of ARCASIA.

Due to unprecedented Covid19 Pandemic situation, this year ARCASIA has decided to organize an Online Design Competition among the individual students of ARCASIA member countries. This ARCASIA Student’s Architectural Design Competition 2020 is organized by the ARCASIA Committee on Architectural Education (ACAE) Secretariat.

The objective of the ARCASIA Student Competition is to provide an arena for students from ARCASIA member countries to participate in ARCASIA activities. It is an opportunity for students from different cultures to exchange and share an idea on a particular design issue that is raised by ARCASIA every year.

31 August 2020
Closing date of submission of One(1) A1-sized layout (594mm x 841mm) in landscape format to PAM Secretariat

28 September 2020
Announcement of Three (3) selected projects by PAM Secretariat

30 September 2020
Submission of 3 shortlists by PAM Secretariat to ACAE Secretariat

2 November 2020
Announcement of Competition Result

Winners declaration and Awards Ceremony at Asian Congress of Architects (ACA 2021), Shanghai.
