Updated Survey on the Impact of MCO and COVID-19 pandemic on Architectural Firms in Sabah Chapter (January – August 2021)
PAM Sabah Chapter MCO Survey.
PAM Sabah Chapter Committee has been carrying out several surveys since the first Movement Control Order (MCO) from 18 March 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic to obtain feedback from PAM members on the impact of the pandemic and economic crisis to their architectural practices.
The implementation of MCO imposed by the Government from 1 June to 28 June 2021 was subsequently extended indefinitely due to the rise in the COVID-19 cases, which is caused by the infectious coronavirus variants over the last 15 months.
Since the rise of COVID-19 cases stricter MCO has been implemented to bring down the COVID-19 cases to below 4,000 per day (for Phase 1 of the national recovery plan) and to vaccinate the population to reach herd immunity of 70%-80% fully vaccinated of the population as soon as possible.
Thus, this survey is to collate and analyze data from the architectural practices how prolongation of MCO may have affected their practices.
To ensure accuracy of the survey, we only require one Director per practice/firm to answer the survey.
This survey will run from 1 to 7 September 2021.
Thank you for taking time to complete the survey.
