Dear Fellow Architects,

Re: Calling for Technical Reviewers, PAM Sabah Awards 2021/2022

 Greetings from PAM Sabah Chapter!

On behalf of the Chapter, I am pleased to announce that our first ever inaugural PAM Sabah Awards is back, following the lifting of the inter-district travel and the opening up for the economy by the government.

The nomination for the Awards had already been announced to commence from 1st November 2021 with the closing date on 6th December 2021 (Monday).

In the meantime, we are looking for volunteers as Technical Reviewers in the vetting through process, and the conducting of technical reviews on the qualified entries for the judging process. The roles of the Technical Reviewers shall be briefed to you by our Convenor and Co-convenor of the Awards, Ar. Victor Wong and Ar. Robert Chiang respectively.

Therefore, I look forward to your wholehearted participation in making this meaningful PAM Sabah Award a success.

Kindly confirm your interest to be appointed as a Technical Reviewer by informing the PAM Secretariat before 12 noon on 30th November 2021.

Thank you.

|To achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls is 5th goal out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals listed by the United Nation. It is mentioned that the UN recognized that to end poverty and other deprivations, the effort must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth. As a developing country, gender equality plays an important role especially when our country needs more skills and manpower resources to boost the country’s economy growth. This presentation is meant to create awareness by introducing the gender concept and how mainstreaming gender can applied into practice.
